Mr. Deepak Balutia is a Spokesperson of Uttarakhand State Congress Committee. He was President of Public School Association, Haldwani during the year of 2010-2013 and President of B.Ed. College Association, Uttarkhand between 2006 – 2010.

He has 30 years of political experience with Congress party. And also 19 years experience with youth congress. He was Secretary of District youth congress, Nainital. He was also President of District youth congress during 1999 to 2007, Nainital. While 2007 to 2011 he was Vice president of state youth congress, Uttarakhand. And In 2014 to 2019 he was Spokesperson Uttarakhand state Congress Committee.

He has also worked for many social activities like Organized Shivir for the admission of children from weaker section under the provisions of RTE,Act. Free medical help and aid to poor people. Donated furniture in Govt. Schools. Organized blood donation camps. Providing free education to poor children. Monetary help to National School For Blind. Organized “Polythene hatao” campaign under“Clean & Green Haldwan” programme.

He has also actively participated and organised many Agitations. Like Three day hunger strike for releasing of Uttarakhand Activist from Jail. Lead various movements against the BJP Govt. for water and Electricity. Raised public issues from time to time. Three day hunger strike against illegal admissions at Dr. Sushila Tiwari Medical College, Haldwani; being promoted by the Chief Minister ,BJP Govt. Uttarakhand. Participated in all the movements at various levels organized by congress party.
